I went to Space World today, it is a theme park located in Yahata Higashi, Kitakyusyu City, Fukuoka, Japan.
The mountain in the background is Mt. Sarakura. It is the highest mountain in Kitakyushu, altitude is
622 meters above sea level and it is part of Kitakyushu Quasi-National Park.Space World has the only scale-one mock-up of an erected US Space Shuttle stack. I had to get over my dislike of roller coasters (memories of Disney World) - I was a good sport and had a good time!!!
